PYO redcurrants begins in the second week of June and ends in early August. Peak picking season throughout July.
Redcurrants have a high pectin content so they make beautiful jellies to serve with lamb and game. Fresh redcurrants are great in summer pudding and mixed with other red fruits for pavlovas, tarts and fruit salads.
