The award-winning traditional butchers counter, found in the Farm Shop, offers you our farm-reared and other very locally sourced fine meats.

We are very proud that our customers say that our meat has so much flavour and is so delicious, that they simply can not buy it anywhere else now!

The butchers is managed by Master Butcher, Andy Richards.  He and his team will be happy to help you with any specific cuts you require – please just ask.  You are welcome to call us and we will prepare your order ready for collection.  We can even give you tips on how to cook your meat.  Call 01323 768490.

• Our Happy Pork Box has meat from our own pigs and is just £45 – it typically includes a leg of pork, spare rib, loin chops, belly slices, sausages and bacon!

This large box is £100 and typically contains our farm reared and local beef as braising steak, mince, stewing steak and beef joint, as well as  rump, sirloin and fillet steak! Beef is currently from a very  local Sussex (beautifuly marbled and tasty!) or Angus cross - all additive free, traditional and fully matured (hung 21 – 28 days).

• The BBQ box is on offer at just £19.95 for 4 burgers, 4 chicken portions, 4 happy sausages, 4 pork steaks and 4 pork spare ribs – totally delicious! Your best ever BBQ starts right here!

We have Chickens, organic lamb, our own Happy Pork from our own (usually) outdoor Happy Pigs. We have a variety of native breeds, including Saddlebacks, Berkshire, Oxford Sandy and Black and Large White.

Our meats are very popular at Christmas. Typically meat orders for turkey, beef, duck, goose, lamb, sausages and anything else you fancy, need to be placed in the first week of December.

We won a Gold British Pig Executive (BPEX) Award for our home cured bacon in 2009/10 and a Bronze Award for our traditional pork sausages in 2010/11.  Come and try some for yourself!
