Emily is our Senior Butcher here at Sharnfold Farm. Her job role includes managing the display, preparing our meat and serving customers. We thought you might like to get to know her more and pick up a few of her top tips…

What foodie top tips can you share with us?

“Our own aged Sirloin steaks are fantastic flash fried for 2-3 minutes each side. I love mine served with potato wedges, salad and a peppercorn sauce.

An underestimated cut of meat that I love is pork tenderloin. It doesn’t need to be cooked for long and is so versatile. It can be used on kebabs, as a mini roast or in a stir fry!”

What is your favourite item in the Farm Shop?

“It’s another meat item! The honey and mustard sausages from Sharnfold Farm – they taste great with mash potato!”

What do you get up to outside of Sharnfold?

“I keep bees on the farm and often sell their honey in the farm shop. I also love baking cakes for my friends and family!”
